Organized in 1988, the CSRA Coalition of Advocates for the Aging is a local organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for CSRA older citizens and represents the priorities of these older Georgians. The purpose of the Coalition is to improve the quality of life for CSRA older citizens through advocacy, education, and public awareness.

The Coalition is a membership organization of people who share an interest in the aging population.   Members represent practitioners, educators, businesses, volunteers, service providers, and older persons.  Membership is open to any organization, business, civic group or individual interested in legislative advocacy and promoting a greater awareness about the needs and concerns of older citizens. Annually, members attend the quarterly meetings, participate in establishing the priorities for the CSRA older citizens, and assist us by educating and involving their local constituencies in advocating for those and other issues.

The Coalition services 14 counties in Georgia which includes Burke, Columbia, Glascock, Hancock, Jefferson, Jenkins, Lincoln, McDuffie, Richmond, Screven, Taliaferro, Warren, Washington, and Wilkes. Throughout these counties, the Coalition will continue to address the needs and concerns of our older Georgians!

Our Mission

I value my Coalition membership because it keeps me connected with statewide and local advocacy issues that affects me.
